Project drama: The City Hunter

Finally in this week arrived the last episode of "The City Hunter".I love love love that drama so much:)In my opinion is one of the best korean drama ever!!!!!

The story:

Lee Yoon-Sung (Lee Min-Ho) works at the Blue House for the National Communication Network Team. He graduated from M.I.T. in the U.S. and possesses elite skills as an I.T. engineer. At the Blue House, Yoon-Sung meets Kim Na-Na (Park Min-Young), who works as a bodyguard there. The two people fall for each other even though Yoon-Sung was warned not to fall in love. An elaborate plan for revenge is his ultimate mission ....

Lee Jin-Pyo (Kim Sang-Jung) and Park Moo-Yul (Park Sang-Min) worked as bodyguards at the South Korean President's home the Blue House. While the president and other high ranking public officials were visiting Myanmar an explosion occurs there set off by North Korean agents. The explosion did not harm the South Korean President, but other South Korean officials were killed. To retaliate for the killing, five high ranking South Korean officials plan a covert operation to go into North Korea and kill North Korean agents. Without the president's knowledge, bodyguards Lee Jin-Pyo and Park Moo-Yul gather men who will take part in the dangerous mission. The men will be dropped near the North Korean coastline and then enter North Korea to carryout their assassinations. For their return, Choi Eung-Chan (Cheon Ho-Jin) promises to have a submarine waiting for them to carry them back to South Korea.

Meanwhile, the five high ranking South Korean public officers, who initiated the covert operation, changes their minds while the operation is taking place. The officials decide to give up on the 21 special force members taking part in the covert operation.

The special forces members complete their tasks and swim into the ocean looking for the submarine to take them back to South Korea. They spot the submarine waiting for them and attempt to board the submarine. A sniper on the submarine kills all of the special forces members except Lee Jin-Pyo - who survives and swims back to South Korea.

Lee Jin-Pyo, carrying out a promise to his fallen comrade and good friend Park Moo-Yul, goes to Park Moo-Yul's home and snatches away Moo-Yul's baby, while Moo-Yul's wife hangs clothes outside. Lee Jin-Pyo then moves to Thailand with the baby. Lee Jin-Pyo sets up a camp in the jungles of Thailand, while growing and trafficking illegal narcotics. Jin-Pyo also raises the baby Lee Yun-Seong and eventually trains him into an elite soldier.

Lee Yun-Seong, now a young adult, enters a village in Thailand and spots a Korean man, Bae Sik-Joong (Kim Sang-Ho), being shaken down by Thai gang members. On a whim, Lee Yun-Seong comes to his aide and helps Bae Sik-Joong escape. Lee Yun-Seong takes the Korean man back their camp. It turns out Bae Sik-Joong is quite a cook and he prepares dishes for Lee Yun-Seung and Lee Jin-Pyo. Lee Yun-Seong also spots a photo of a young woman named Kim Na-Na that Bae Sik-Joong carries with him. Lee Yun-Seong takes the photo and places it next to his bed. He becomes emotionally attached to the woman in the photo even though he has never met her.

A few days later, Lee Jin-Pyo loses a foot while saving Lee Yun-Seung from a landmine. While Lee Jin-Pyo is recovering, he finally tells Lee Yun-Seung about his birth father and how he was killed by his own government. Lee Jin-Pyo then vows to exact revenge upon the five government officials responsible for his father's death.

Seven years later, Lee Yun-Seo finally arrives in South Korea. Prior to arriving in South Korea, Lee Yun-Seo studied at M.I.T. in the United States. He was also warned by Lee Jin-Pyo, prior to entering South Korea, to avoid falling in love because blood will be shed all around him ...

This drama is really interesting, story is great and every episode is surprising and always keep me in suspense. The main actor Lee Min Ho is absolutely divine, so sexy and really good in acting. The main actress is pretty and cute. This drama is for everyone who loves to watch action, romance and suspense drama.

Tv shows: The Vampire Diaries

Recently I can't find interesting Asian drama so I try to watch something different like American Tv shows. Of course this is not my first time to watch it, because I've already loved to watch " Grey's anatomy","Desperate housewives","Smallville","Private practice". I heard a lot about Tv show "The Vampire Diaries", so I wanted to watch it.

The story:

The series follows the life of Elena Gilbert (Nina Dobrev) a 17-year-old girl, who falls for a 162-year-old vampire named Stefan Salvatore (Paul Wesley). Their relationship becomes increasingly complicated as Stefan's vicious and malevolent elder brother Damon (Ian Somerhalder) returns with a plan to wreak havoc on the town and also to plan a revenge against his younger brother. Both brothers begin to show affection towards Elena, mainly because of her resemblance to their past love Katherine Pierce. It is revealed that Elena, a distant relative of Katherine, is Katherine's doppelganger , who eventually returns with plans against the trio.

The series is set in the fictional town of Mystic Falls, Virginia, a town charged with supernatural history since its settlement of migrants from New England in the late 17th century. Other story lines revolve around the other inhabitants of the town, most notably Elena's younger brother Jeremy Gilbert (Steven R. McQueen), Elena's best friend Bonnie Bennett (Katerina Graham), Elena's close friend, Caroline Forbes (Candice Accola), Elena's childhood friend, Tyler Lockwood (Michael Trevino) and Elena's childhood friend and ex-boyfriend, Matt Donovan (Zach Roerig). The town's politics are orchestrated by descendants of the original founding families, all comprising a "Founders' Council". Some of the founding families of Mystic Falls include the Salvatores, the Gilberts, the Fells, the Forbes and the Lockwoods. They guard the town mainly from vampires although they seem to be oblivious on other supernatural threats like from werewolves.

Tv show is great!!! I've watched two seasons and really I can't wait the third one. This Tv show is really interesting and every episode keeps me in suspense till the end. I recommend this serial for everyone - it's awesome!

Project drama : Romance town

Finally I finished watching korean drama "Romance Town". I really couldn't wait that drama because there play one of my favourite actor :Jung Gyu Woon.

The story:
The story of domestic help who work for rich households. No Soon Geum is one of these housekeepers; despite the master-maid heirarchy, she's bold, fearless, and unafraid of doing hard work in order to support herself. As a child, Soon Geum had dreamt of living a grand life in a Cinderella story, complete with her own white knight, but that dream had faded as reality took over. However, she reaches a turning point in her life when she is hired as a maid for the rich and handsome Kang Gun Woo.

The beginning of this drama was quite interesting, but later it's getting boring and boring. In my opinion it was one of the worst drama. Even great cast like Jung Gyu Woon and Sung Yu Ri don't change that boring drama. What a pity!

Project drama: Bean Chaff of my life

Recently I try to search older drama which I haven't watched it yet. I found korean drama " The bean Chaff of my life". This is drama and musical. If anyone is interested in this kind of drama, so I think you should watch it.

The story:
When Eun-young (So Yoo Jin) and Kyung-soo (Park Kwang Hyun) meet each other in their early 20's, no one can picture these two, who share no common goals but high expectations towards their potential mate, falling for each other. As a decade goes by, nevertheless, what grows along with their age is their bittersweet growing experience enriched with ups and downs. The stories of Eun-young and Kyung-soo interweave and finally come together in a surprising moment of shared recognition.

I haven't known the cast of this drama, so I want to try it and watch it. It was my first drama - musical. It was good -but the story was a little bit obvious, so fr me it was a bit boring.

Project drama : Can you hear my heart?

Lately I finished watching korean drama "Can you hear my heart". This is romance and drama. It has 30 episodes.

The story:
Cha Dong Joo (Kim Jae Won), a chaebol who loses his hearing due to a accident, but pretends he can hear, meets up with Bong Woo Ri (Hwang Jung Eum), the “candy girl” who always ‘cleaning’ the mess and troubles caused by her “mentally retarded” father through a twist of fate. The drama will be also focusing on how people stand up and overcome their sad fates with determination, cheerfulness through the love they receive/given from the others around them.

Drama wasn't very interesting and for me also has too many episodes. Of course I don't say that every episode was boring.Even the good cast - famous korean actor Kim Jae Won - he is well known from "Romance","Wonderful life"," She is 19","Great Inheritance". For me he doesn't look good there - he looks like vampire sometimes.
The main actress Hwang Jung Eum -also doesn't look good in that short hairstyle. I watched with her "Winter bird" and there she looked prettier. Only one men in that drama was really interesting: Nam Goong Min - he played very well and looked really sexy.

Hmm this drama is for fan's Kim Jae Won or maybe for anyone who is really bored and doesn't have nothing to watch.

Project drama: City of glass

Finally I could watch korean drama "City of Glass" - I was waiting for English subs. This drama is one of longer drama that I usually watch. It has 51 episodes.
I always prefer watch drama with 16 till 30 episodes, but recently I try something new. After I watched "Loving you thousand times" which is one of my favourite long drama, I search for another one.

The story:
Jung Min Joo is a woman from a very tough family background. Her mother had three children with three different fathers. However, she overcomes this in order to become a news announcer. When she first meets Kim Joon Sung, she is annoyed with his continued courtship of her. Eventually, Min Joo marries Joon Sung and her life changes. Her aspirations of becoming a great reporter are put on hold while she copes to her new life as the second daughter-in-law of a rich and influential chaebol family.

In the beginning story was interesting, but later is getting so boring. The ending was really bad, drama has many lacks. I don't recommend for anyone because it's waste of time.

Project drama : Baby- faced Beauty"

In this week I also finished another korean drama called " Baby - faced Beauty". This drama I watched regulary, because in the beginning I was interested in the story.

The story:
The story of Lee So Young (Jang Na Ra), a 34-year-old woman who's saddled with family debt and only has a high school qualifications, but dreams of becoming a fashion designer. Her youthful appearance is her only advantage; she is mistaken for a 25-year-old university graduate and subsequently lands her dream job when she's hired by a fashion design company, where she meets Choi Jin Wook( Choi Daniel), a man who looks more mature than his young age.

In the beginning drama is interesting, but unfortunatly later is getting boring. The ending is not that bad as usually in korean dramas, but still not great.

About the cast:
Jang Na Ra is really good actress-I watched with her "Wedding", "My bratty princess","My love Patzzi" and "Successful story of a Bright girl" -but here in this drama she was characterless.
Main actor Choi Daniel wasn't good looking for me and he also was so-so. I know well from many dramas another main male actor Ryu Jin, but there he was the same characterless as main actress. I was really surprised when I heard this drama has really good ratings and it defeat "The greatest love" - so maybe this is only my opinion. What do you think?

Project drama: Autumn shower

It's time for another post about drama that I finished.
Recently I try to watch older drama, because I've already watched a lot of drama recommend in many forums. This time was Korean drama called "Autumn shower".

Story:
A story about a man, Choi Yoon-jae (Oh Ji Ho) who ends up getting into a car accident causing the passenger, who is his wife, Gyoo-eun (Kim So Yun) to end up in the hospital who now suffers from a coma. Park Yeon-seo (Jung Ryu Won) is Gyoo-euns bestfriend, who secretly is in love with Yoon-jae. While Gyoo-eun is in a coma, her husband and bestfriend starts an affair. Will Gyoo-eun ever wake up from her coma? If so what will happen?

I know a little bit cast from this drama. I watched with Oh Ji Ho a few dramas like "Fugitive:Plan B", "Couple of Fantasy","Single dad in love","Get Karl" -he is very handsome an good actor.
Also I know actress Kim So Yun from really great dramas like "Athena:Goddess of war","Iris","Prossecutor Princess" - she is really great actress.
And Jung Ryu Won - to tell the truth I don't like her acting, I don't know why maybe because that she always has stupid roles in dramas - also in this drama she is so annoying.

For me drama was boring, irritating and has really foolish ending. I don't know why but a lot of korean dramas have strange, incomprehensible endings.

Time for cooking: Cantuccini

Today I decided to bake Italian biscuits : Cantuccini.
The cakes are large almond biscuits, made dry and crunchy through cutting the loaf of dough while still hot and fresh from baking in then oven .

They look like that:

The mixture is composed exclusively of flour, sugar, eggs ,pine nuts; and almonds that are not roasted or skinned. The traditional recipe uses no form of yeast or fat(butter, oil, milk). The barely wet dough is then cooked twice: once in slab form, and after cutting in sliced form, with the second baking defining how hard the biscotti are.Being very dry, biscotti traditionally are served with a drink, into which they may be dunked. I love to eat them alone, but also they are delicious with coffee.

I didn't use pine nuts - only almonds and still They are good. Link

And this is my version of Cantuccini:

Project drama: Auction House

Recently I decided to watch korean drama "Auction House".

The story:
The drama centered around the work life of the employees at Will Auction, an auction house dealing in arts. Cha Yun Soo was a rookie hired by Will Auction even though she had no background in arts and what's more, her father was once convicted of art forgery. She overcame obstacles by working hard and proving that she could be trusted. She aspired to be an auctioneer like her superior, Min Soo Rin. Oh Yoon Jae was the senior specialist at the firm and would take any risk to uncover the truth.

It was supposed romance, but to tell the truth it wasn't. It was really boring drama, even that every episode has different story. Main actress Yoon So Yi -I watched with her "Goodbye Solo" and "City of Glass" - she is good actress, but in that drama her character wasn't interesting. Main actor Jung Chan - I know him from "Sweet buns","Lovers","You're beautiful","Personal Preference". He also wasn't very good there. Drama has only 12 episodes, but it's so boring that even one episode it's hard to endure.

Project drama: Lie to me

In this week I finished watching another korean drama "Lie to me".

At first I really wanted to watch that drama because of Yoon Eun Hye -She is one of my favourite korean actress. She is well known from "Coffee Prince", "Goong", "The Vineyard Man" and "Take care of the young lady". I watched everything with her.
Also in this drama main male part played Kang Ji Hwan - I watched with him "Hong Gil Dong", "Exhibition of Fireworks", "90 days, falling in love days", "Style".

The story:
Gong Ah Jung (Yoon Eun Hye), a level 5 Ministry of Culture official, gets entangled in a web of lies when she mistakenly lies that she's married to Hyun Ki Joon(Kang Ji Hwan), a hotel manager from an affluent family. Their relationship is further complicated when Ki Joon's ex-fiancée and a close friend of his brother's, Oh Yoon Joo, reappears in his life.

The drama is funny and has some really great parts. Of course there are some nice kisses - especially I remember "Cola's kiss"- it's really sweet. Finally I can tell that the ending was nice - and I wasn't disappointed. I wrote before that sometimes korean drama doesn't have good ending, so I'm happy that it changes a lot. That drama was good - but to tell the truth I was curious why Yoon Eun Hye's character in the ending was a bit similar to Goong or Coffee Prince. I mean this part when she doesn't want to get married and she hesitated. Maybe this is only my impression. Does anyone feel the same?
